Rated 5 out of 5 by from Got my item promptly and accurately I use this wire for more nerdy stuff like making chainmaille for costuming. It was exactly as I ordered it, correct gauge, length, and so on. It came promptly and accurately and I'm likely to order again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best wire I have tried all types of wire and like this one the best. Stainless steel is better but too expensive. High tensile wire is the strongest. It will keep out deer if you go 4 strands and 6 ft. high. It will probaly stop a charging lion. For those who fear wild animals in Ohio.I used it when I am doing a government job (NRCS). It is a permenant fence. You can not put it up or take it down easily. You have to use tensioners because you can not pull it tight like you can with 14 ga. aluminum. Next year I am going to try Electro braid or tape. They tell me that is the way to go.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good wire Used this to build a temporary electric fence around our garden (about an 80' X 80' area) and it worked well for our needs, primarily to keep raccoons out. The wire was much lighter than the corresponding steel wire and thus was very easy to work with (I made 4 strands around my garden at about 6-8" heights apart). And it conducted the electricity just fine too (which I can fully attest to by touching the fence myself after energizing it! LOL). I will soon be taking the fence down and I expect it to be just as easy to spool the wire back up as it was to unspool it to begin with. I doubt that this fence would stop deer as they could jump over it but I will say that there has been no evidence of deer getting in the fenced in area since we put it up so maybe it did turn away the casual "nosey" deer!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Conductor, But Not Strong Enough We began using this wire for part of our electric deer fence and found that it was just not strong enough to withstand much impact. We switched to an all-steel wire.
