Cow fencing for vegetable arch.

I couldn’t be happier with the assistance that I got at tractor supply in Ringos, New Jersey. Prior to a shoulder surgery I was anxious to get up an arch for pumpkin and squash, planting in the spring. Having no real idea about cow fencing the piece I wanted to buy was much too big to put in my car. Two gentlemen came to my aid and when I still could not get it in the car, One offered to deliver it for me. I’m not sure that I would recommend cow fencing for this project as once bent, and trying to get it in my car, it was not able to be straightened out, and therefore I could not achieve the full “arch“ that I desired. That being said I made it work! For those looking to build a vegetable arch in their garden, I would recommend going with something that is a little less sturdy and something more bendable.

Perfect for my Urban Garden

This was exactly what I needed to use in my urban garden. Using T-posts, I was able to stand this up along my garden bed and plant my squash and sugar snap peas along. It's too early to tell but I think it's sturdy enough to hold the weight of the fruit. I know in time these will be covered in vines but because I wanted these to somewhat disappear in the garden until that happens, I spray painted them black and I love them. They just disappear into the landscape and it just matches all the other iron in the yard. I believe this is money well spent.

Yes, I recommend this product.
