A: Remove the Palace Central Heater for summer and store it in a shed or garage. Remove the front window located on the door and move it to its storage position on the recessed area on the upper door.

Q: I have two yellow labs. What are your thoughts regarding the palace being big enough for them both? They get along well. Also, is there any chance they could destroy the heating element of this fairly expensive product?

A: There is a dimension diagram included in the images. The overall height is 46.5 inches and the overall diameter is 42 inches. The inside dimensions are 39.5 inches tall by 38 inch diameter.

Q: What is the voltage of the heater that goes inside the dog house? We are looking for an extra heavy duty extension cord. Thanks!

A: It is a 300 watt heater with a 110 outlet. Extension cordsmust be outdoor rated three prong with at least 16 gauge wire and be less than 100 feet in length.

A: There is a dimension diagram included with the images. The inside diameter is 38" and the inside height is 39.5" . Your two basset hounds would be comfortable in it if they get along.

Q: Will this allow you to set the desired temperature & kick on and off on its own?

A: Yes. The fan will always be on so it can check the temperature. The heating element only kicks on when it drops five degrees below the set temperature and stays on until it reaches set temperature. Impossible to get dog house

We would have love it, I guess if we had been able to get it!!!!! We got the email to come pick it up, when I did I opened the box to check if all of it was there, and the sides were missing. Apparently it comes in two boxes. I waited a couple more days and the store was unable to locate the rest of the house so sadly I had to return the one box. Really wanted it.

Big houses, assembly required.

It is nice and big. I probably could have just ordered 1-house for my 2-dogs. It arrived in the middle of record-breaking heat spell, so I have decided to order the solar air vent to go with them. Hopefully my dogs will use the houses. So far they are much more interested in being in MY house.

Easy to assemble. Works great for keeping our litter of puppies warm and comfortable. Door a little high for puppies would be fine for adult dog. My husband built the puppies steps to get in and that worked well. Swinging door works well. Bring that it is double hinged puppies can easily manage it and do not get stuck.

Great heater and house

It’s a great product. It’s nice and toasty inside because of the heater and insulation. Dogs love it. The door is a bit of a bother because both of my dogs use it. It usually smacks them in the face when one of them leaves the house and the other is laying. They get aggressive over the house, which is also a new behavior from them. Their previous house burned down. It was bigger, but they would cuddle together inside. Idk if the size is what is making them a bit more aggressive (there’s plenty of room), or because it’s just really nice idk
