DECTOMAX Injectable controls more parasite species and larval stages than any other single-ingredient injectable parasite control product.
- Dectomax Injectable is approved for the treatment and control of internal and external parasites of cattle
- DECTOMAX has been proven to effectively control infections and protect cattle from reinfection with Cooperia punctata, Oesophagostomum radiatum and Dictyocaulus viviparus for 28 days; Ostertagia ostertagi for 21 days; and Cooperia oncophora and Haemonchus placei for 14 days after treatment.
- Dectomax is approved for control of harmful species of gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, eyeworms, grubs (see precautions), sucking lice and mange mites. Consult your veterinarian for assistance in the diagnosis, treatment and control of parasitism
Doramectin
Administer DECTOMAX Injectable at the recommended dosage of 1 mL (10 mg doramectin) per 110 pounds body weight by either subcutaneous (SC) or intramuscular (IM) injection. For SC or IM injection in cattle only.

Poor Packaging

We received multiple broken bottles in our shipment. Packaging can be significantly improved. Product works great and serves the purpose of helping protect against parasites.

I chose this because it was purported to cause less sting to the animal. Success in that department. This was important because I was using this for mites and would need to inject again in 2 weeks. My animal had no flinch when administering. It seems to be working on eliminating the mites. My only suggested improvement is the size of the bottle. I wish there was a smaller bottle option.
