Q: How many mgs of Copper & of Zinc are in this hoof supplement to compare to what my farrier wants my horses on?? PPM measurements do not covert for comparisons. Thank you!

- A: The PPM on this label is calculated by amount in 1 kg of feed and 1 ppm=1 mg/l. This product serving is 32 grams per scoop. It takes 31.25 scoops to make 1000 g of the feed supplement. If we have 1500 ppm minimum, per scoop that would be 1500/31.25= 48 mg of zinc and 450/31.25=14.4 mg of copper per scoop.a year ago
