Rated 5 out of 5 by from DuMor Kid Milk Replacer is the BEST Choice! After rescuing several baby goats this past years, and trying different brands of milk/colostrum replacers. I personally found that the DuMOR Kid Milk Replacer brand from Tractor Supply is hands-down the best, especially since it was the only brand my kid goats did not get runny stool / Diarrhea from. While at the same time giving our baby kid goats the best health benefits after loosing their mother goats.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Every 4 hours We have never had to use kid milk before but mama goat got really sick after giving birth so she couldn’t feed the baby. We picked up the kid milk from Tractor supply and found that the baby really likes it and she is getting bigger every day. The mama goat is getting better also. I definitely recommend it.

I have a bag of Kid Milk Replacer from last year. Kidding season is upon me and I am checking supplies and getting ready in case I have to bottle feed. I have looked for an expiration date on the product but cannot find one. Is this bag still good?

Asked by: Pam73
We apply manufacturing date codes, not expiration dates, while looking at the front of the bag it would be on the left side. Milk replacer has a 12 month shelf life.

How long or at what age should kids be fed a bottle ? and what is the average weaning age of a kid ?

Asked by: MJG1
Day 1-- It’s important newborn goat kids receive colostrum as soon after birth as possible. Day 2 to weaning— A rule of thumb is to wean a goat kid when it triples its birth weight. For most dairy and meat breeds of goat this is around 24-30 lbs. and typically between 30-45 days of age. Wean only healthy, growing goat kids that are consuming hay and grain daily.

Asked by: Zubhanwc3
A 7lb bags of DuMor Kid Milk Replacer will make 14 servings using the enclosed 8oz cup. This is based on age of the kid.
