The Chief 2 in. Bore x 10 in. Stroke WT Welded Hydraulic Cylinder is a high-quality welded hydraulic cylinder designed for heavier loads. The rod and base ends of the hydraulic cylinder are welded cross-tubes with grease zerks. Designed for performance, it has a heavy-duty piston as well as a piston stem complete with wear rings to reduce friction, and the screw-in gland is removable from the rod end. You can rest easy knowing this cylinder is ideally suited for construction, metal fabricating, waste/recycling, OEM trailer manufacturing, and agricultural applications.

Piston: ductile iron with wear ring(s)
Gland: ductile iron, screw-in design with wear ring
Tube: precision-honed steel
Rod: ground and polished chromed steel with a minimum 75,000 PSI yield
Butt plate: steel
End mounts: steel cross-tubes with grease zerk
Spacer tube: steel on 48 in. stroke and above
Gland seal: polyurethane U-cup
Wiper: polyurethane
Piston seal: 755 Hallite with wear ring(s)
All other seals are selected and designed for maximum life
Welded hydraulic cylinder functionally tested and pressurized to 1.5 times the normal working pressure for max reliability
3,000 PSI operating range
Measures 17 in. retracted and 27 in. extended
Column load: 9,420 lb.
Pin diameter of 1 in. and rod diameter of 1.25 in.
Includes SAE O-ring port hookups on small bores and NPT on the hydraulic cylinder's large bores
