C.E. Schmidt Men's Utility Canvas Pant is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 33.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long wearing Great pockets. I purchased 5 pair of these pants over 3 years ago. I noticed a wear mark had appeared on the thigh of one pair near the area covering the front pocket. No hole, just wear. I really appreciate the front pant pocket material. It appears to be a synthetic material almost a silk feel to them and the have held up better than ANY other pants pockets I have worn. I carry the standard male articles in them, keys, pocket knife, change, fully loaded pistol magazines and odds and ends. So far they have been a great product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Worn out too quick I bought my husband a pair of canvas utility pants earlier this month and the knee already has a hole worn through. Disappointed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best work pant period Quit buying Carhartt and paying for the name. I have been putting these pants through the ringer for 2 years and they are still holding up well. Very comfortable after half dozen washes. Only downside is they will not ship to Alaska, so I have family ship them up here.

Why is the hammer loop only on the left side

Asked by: Bones twd
Most users are right handed. The hammer is deposited and/or retrieved with the left hand and the handle is placed in the right hand for use.

My husband found these are the best pants to wear for work, however it has been just about a year and they are starting to get holes. We just bought more and saw they have a 1 year guarantee. How do we return these & what do we need to replace them

Asked by: nlgriffith09
Please work with your local TSC store manager.

I see that these Canvas Pants are 100% cotton. Are they preshrunk, or do I need to add an inch or two the waist and inseam accordingly?

Asked by: DudeRancher
Since the fabric is 100% cotton, there will be some shrinkage, but they should not shrink out of fit as a shrinkage tolerance is built into the pattern. The jeans should be bought “true to size”.
