These men's pants are made with Rugged Flex stretch technology, and feature a midweight cotton canvas blend, that offers the perfect amount of stretch, for ease of movement. And, the straight fit features a tapered leg that easily fits over boots. The fit is painfully inconsistent.
I bought a pair of these a few years back and they are my favorite work pant. Durable, comfortable and slim. They hold their fit better than any pair of Carhartt I've ever had. No need to wash every time to bring them back to size.
Then I bought a new pair a year later (same size, same color) and they're noticeably bigger but still manageable. But need to be washed after every where or they become HUGE.
I got suckered into buying two more pair recently in hopes that they would be back to their original form. Somehow they got worse. One pair fits about the same as the second pair I bought. Big but manageable. The other pair were so big I had to double check I was sent the correct size. How does a company have such poor quality control? It's honestly super disappointing. Especially because they keep discontinuing any other style that's remotely fitted.
Needless to say I'm returning the two new pair I bought. I'd rather spend my money on pants that actually fit the way they're supposed to rather than making do with these

Inconsistency in fit.

Loved the fit of these pants a few years ago. Bought a couple new pairs, because my old pairs were getting wore out. Also lost a few pounds so I went from a 34x30 to a 32x30. Was met with disappointment with the new pairs. The 32's fit the SAME in the waist as the 34's!
The length in the new pairs is noticeably shorter than the old pairs. Also supposed to be a slimmer fit which the old ones were, not the case with the new ones.
Carhartt you need better quality control in production, the inconsistency is disappointing because I used to love these pants. Won't be getting anymore in this model.

Great pants

I love these pants. Great quality n stylish. Only thing is I bought a size 38 which is my Tru size but they were a bit snug in the waist. Not too bad to where I can't button them, just kinda an exact fit to where i don't have to wear a belt if I don't want to so I'd say my specific pair is a smaller 38 I might've went up to a 40 but I still love them n wear them every week
