The Carhartt Men's Straight Fit Mid-Rise Rigby Work Pants are built for carpentry, ranch work, weekend chores, or any type of physical work. These men's pants are made with Rugged Flex stretch technology, and feature a midweight cotton canvas blend, that offers the perfect amount of stretch, for ease of movement. And, the straight fit features a tapered leg that easily fits over boots. These work pants have all the traditional jean pockets, plus a reinforced front slash pocket, and a hidden thigh pocket for a phone or knife.

I love these pants. Great quality n stylish. Only thing is I bought a size 38 which is my Tru size but they were a bit snug in the waist. Not too bad to where I can't button them, just kinda an exact fit to where i don't have to wear a belt if I don't want to so I'd say my specific pair is a smaller 38 I might've went up to a 40 but I still love them n wear them every week

I am not sure they are really slim fit. They seem a bit baggy. The only measurement I can give you is the actual leg opening at 8.5". What should that number be?
