Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great stove Bought this a month ago for use with my RV. I like to cook outdoors when possible. It is very well built and provides lots of energy for cooking. Boils 2 quarts of water in no time. Would be great for car camping too.

does it have to have a regulatory hose to run or can canister connect directly

This unit needs a hose with regulator. The propane will be released at full pressure and the regulator will regulate that pressure from the tank. It is unsafe to connect it without a regular.
