Q: We recently purchased 4 of these houses for our animal rescue. I cannot get the top and bottom of the larger ones to snap together. One side will but not the other. Is there a way to make them fit properly?

- A: Well, HA! I, too, run my own dog rescue and transport. These doghouses are affordable and most of the ones I have. I have never been all that happy with the quality of them as regards their snap-together aspect. I just have to keep at it, and hope it connects. Sometimes it do, and sometimes it do not. I wish I could figure out a way to be sure, every time. I can say that some are better than others, and some never really "snap". But, unless the dog is too tall for the house, or one that is just determined to dismantle and lay in the top (you probably have that, too) they will offer sufficient shelter. I'm trying to save up for igloos.5 years agoHelpful?

Perfect for a cat

I was told cats won't get in a pethouse, but I thought I'd try anyway. Within 24hrs my stray cat had moved into his house and loves it. I put a little bed in it for him for cold weather. He spends the day in it. Perfect for outdoor cats to get out of the wind, rain, and snow.

I was looking for something for my outdoor cat to use as shelter and this looks great except it has no exit on it so that she can escape being trapped in there by another animal

I ordered this dog house for the 3-4 stray cats I have been taking care of. Because they are outside cats, I couldn’t let them be without some kind of shelter especially when it rains. The house was very easy to assemble and is quite sturdy. I was surprised how thick the walls are. It’s perfect for my needs. I placed it on a pallet so it’s raised and put a towel inside. First night one of the cats stayed in it. Now the others are in it during the day too. It’s perfect and the price wasn’t bad either! I may buy a couple more.
