This fence charger runs up to 2 weeks without sunlight and is powered by an internal rechargeable battery. With 0.20 output joules, it supports a variety of animals and livestock, such as cattle, horses, pigs and goats, and energizes up to 18 miles of fencing. This electric fence charger includes a built-in battery monitor, which allows you to keep track of your battery's health. With a quick glance, you'll be able to determine if your battery is going bad or your charger just needs a better angle. A durable case helps protect the energizer against the elements. To prepare this solar-powered electric fence charger for first use, place the unit in full sun for 3 days in the off position. After this charging period, the unit is ready to use and install. Unit doesn't bode well in the hot Texas sun.

The unit works well but doesn't hold up to the Texas sunshine. The sickon panel is coming unglued and has developed holes where the leds shine through and where the push buttons are. This allows rain to get into the unit and on the circuit boards which results in the unit being dead. By chance is a new stick on available for the unit?

Solar Powered Fence Energizer

Charged solar to full while installing the wire and insulators, installed and has been working at 100% since turned on. Works perfectly for the large pen I have it on, and am currently adding more fence line to connect to.
