The Brinly 38" Box Scraper is actually two very useful tools in one. In addition to having the ability to perform all box scraper tasks, the side plates and scarifier bar can be easily removed to make a Rear Blade, which is ideal for grading, backfilling, or moving dirt, gravel, sand and snow. Additional weight may be added to the built-in weight tray for even tougher grading and leveling projects. The heavy, center-mounted C-frame and durable carbon steel blade guarantee that this tool will last project after project, year after year. For versatility, the box blade angles and locks 30° in either direction for pushing instead of pulling.

Nice to have on hand in a weather emergency

This Hitch Box Scraper came with our house. We had an ice storm this winter and the driveway was all about impassable with at least an inch of ice on it. Since I had this unit on hand thought I would give it a try with some sand etc behind my zero turn John Deere mower. The blade teeth worked pretty good at busting up the ice on my 120 yard long driveway, enough to where I could navigate it with my truck. It took many passes and about an hour or so. Had to use some cotter pins to keep the blades in place which had some significant wear after dragging over the gravel in the driveway. Other than that, it worked pretty good for the emergency.
Yes, I recommend this product.

It’s good for a garden
a year ago
This works for the most part. We had to alter where the forks sat as with the holes that were on it were too high leaving it to only dig down maybe 1/2”. This tool works better for already loose ground or recently rained on ground. Not good for hard clay soil that’s compacted. The picture attached is the soil worked after a good snow and the forks lowered to new holes we drilled in the attachment.
Yes, I recommend this product.

High cost, sufficient quality.

Quality produc.
But nearly double the cost of all other outlets.
Giving the extra cost, you would hope it came partially
assembled instead of just a box of pieces.
Overall a decent purchase. But would go with the
cheaper dealer of the identical item.
