Do not feed whimzees to your dog unless you want a huge vet bill. Unfortunately these already expensive treats gave my dog diahreah, the shakes and made her very sick that I had to take her to emergency vet.

When I first rescued my dog, he had infected gums and very unhealthy teeth. After months of treatment with our vet, his teeth are back to normal and these chews are a great way to maintain the health of his teeth and gums along with our vet's instructions of brushing his teeth daily. My pup has a particularly sensitive stomach, and he does not have any issues with these as they are easily digestible. As soon as I indicate that I am giving him a Whimzee Chew he gets very excited and won't leave me alone until I give him one! I love that he is so excited about something that also benefits him. He is a 55 pound pitbull-mix and I give him the large chews. He typically gets through one chew in 20-25 minutes, it's a great way to keep him busy. The chews come in packaging that is resealable to maintain optimum freshness.

The medium chew takes Chloe about 5 minutes to eat, so while they aren't designed as a long-lasting chew, they do take her a bit to get through and the alligator shape is absolutely adorable! I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a high-quality dental chew that is both healthy and delicious.

To be honest, I decided to try these for my dog because I thought they were cute. When I first opened the bag, I was skeptical that they would help with bad breath because they didn’t smell fantastic. Not bad - just not minty or anything. They were cute as ever though! I have a 60 lb. golden so I got her the large size. I like that these treats are all-natural. My dog is quite the chewer so it only took her about 5 minutes to finish the alligator. IT WORKED THOUGH! No bad breath after! I am impressed! My dog seems to really like the treats. The price is a little high, so I will be spreading out how often she gets these. I also like the Velcro bag closure feature.
