Van Zyverden Blazing Star Liatris Spicata is a tall upright, clump forming perennial which is native to moist low grounds, meadows, and marsh margins. The spikes of these perennial plants produce flower heads atop rigid leafy flower stalks. They typically grow 2-4 ft. tall; however, they have been known to grow as tall as 6 ft. in their native habitat. One of the best perennial plants for sale, the Liatris Spicata is drought resistant and attractive to many butterfly species. These drought tolerant plants are a very popular top selling cultivar from Holland.
