Love this Wisteria

I bought this wisteria barefoot several years ago. I chose a plant with some green growth on top. I planted it in my front yard by the mailbox. Each fall, pruning it back. I absolutely love this Wisteria! The twig from the box- is now an arm thick trunk! Be careful where you plant your Wisteria. You will be amazed at how it takes off! Runners and vines every which direction. LoL
The Wisteria is heavy with beautiful, fragrant blooms. Also, in the late fall, pick the velvety seed pods- inside each pod is 1 to 4 shiny,flat black seeds. They are very slow to grow from seed. Taking up to 4 years to bloom- I'm so happy with my Wisteria purchase from Tractor Supply!

Invasive species. “Vigorous spreader”

Please do not sell these. Or buy them. They are an invasive species. They spread. Quickly. They will wipe out native species, and are extremely difficult to get rid of.

Dishonest and Misleading

These are just unrooted cuttings sold in a small bag of dry soil...DO NOT BUY them unless you know how to propagate plants from cuttings. Very disappointing to see these offered before they are rooted and more likely to survive. Not buying from DeGroot again as I can't trust that they aren't just selling $7 cuttings!

Didn't leaf out

Just a, stick that never sprouted leaves.
I end of June it still has not leafed out. Wanted one for years. Won't be buying again. Plant is alive but zero growth. Temperature is right. Watering is fine.
