CountyLine Catch & Release Live Animal Trap, 2 Pack is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 256.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from good price The good: the price The bad: unless whatever is going in is an elephant it will not trip the trap, i had a chipmunk sit on the trap lever and nothing happened! Similar situation with the larger trap with a groundhog, he went in and came out. I put a weaker spring in mine and removed it in the smaller-better now

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad trap trip mechanism The small trap trip spring is way to strong and it would take a much heaver animal than it is designed for to trip, therefor it is useless to catch small prey. On the large trap the latch bent rod is to short, and will trip to easily if the door is bumped.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poorly made, trigger doesn't work On saturday I went to the tractor supply for a bird feeder I really wanted and noticed these traps on a display in the middle. I been looking for one and was thrilled when I seen one for a good price (well 2 really). I only need the big one for a groundhog we've been having trouble with. I was using my uncles trap and caught 4 no problem (he has a Havahart trap) so decided to buy my own trap. We watched him walk in the trap and we thought we caught him... Then he walks out, with the bait. So I thought to try again, and once again he got a free meal, this time enjoying it in the trap. He's a big groundhog and should be able to set the trap off. We've watched him step onto it and nothing. I can't return it anymore since its been sitting in the wet grass for 2 days and I got rid of the tags, so now I'm out money and my beautiful plants are disappearing. Really just disappointed that they'd even continue selling something like this knowing full well it doesn't work well. I wouldn't waste your money on this unless you got some morbidly obese critters around.

Hello Bill, If you search "Advantek trap instructions" on your favorite search engine you'll find some great customer-made videos on how to set our traps. At this time we do not have any additional visuals to that. We recommend the video by Mousetrap Genius as it shows how the trap can be used. - Advantek, Customer Service Specialist
