Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Feed I started using this feed last year. I was asked by the store manager to try it and let them know how it worked because it was a new item for them. We raised turkeys and meat birds on this. The birds loved it. The finish product was full of flavor and the fat was greatly decreased. I was very satisfied with product and have recommended it to everyone that raises meat birds. It's a regular stock item in our store now. Ducks love it too.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not My Favorite I only buy this brand when I have no choice. It has an oily smell and look, especially when fermented.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality feed High quality feed for my peachicks. You can almost smell and see the quality from the moment you open the bag. Includes probiotics for added gut health unlike the most basic feeds. Plus coop odor is much improved from the store brand. Definitely worth the price when its on sale.

Could I feed this to quail

Asked by: Steve547
Yes, except if they are breeders, there is not enough calcium, but that can be supplemented with ground oyster shell given free choice. If it is for baby quail, make sure to grind it down some, with a blender or rolling pin.

Can this be fed to baby ducks? and at what age?

Asked by: bevy1949
This will depend on the type of duck this would be fed to. If it is being fed to show ducks/pets, the manufacturer would suggest the NatureWise Chick Starter/Grower that TSC carries as this is a non-medicated starter. The lower protein will help to avoid what is known as Angel Wings. If it is a meat type duck, then they would suggest the NatureWise Meatbird as the higher protein will help to reach the desired processing weight quicker. Either of these options can be fed at hatch.
