Feed Home Fresh Extra Egg Layer as the sole diet for laying hens and game birds (turkeys and pheasants). Provide fresh water at all times. The suggested feeding program is intended solely as a guide. The variables of management, environment and breed may dictate changes in the animal's dietary requirements. For additional feeding recommendations, consult your local KNG feed representative, refer to the Home Fresh Poultry brochure, or visit kentfeeds.com.

We recommend in most cases, you slowly transition your animal when changing to a Kent/Blue Seal product or even between Kent/Blue Seal products. This allows the animal's digestive tract to properly adjust to the feed. To help with the transition, we recommend slowly mixing the new Kent/Blue Seal product in with your current feed and then gradually increase over the course of one week to 100% of the new Kent/Blue Seal product.

8 months ago- A: Hi Neighbor- No, you should not give Kent Blue Seal Home Fresh Extra Egg Layer Pelleted Poultry Feed to male ducks. The high calcium content, intended for laying hens and ducks, can cause serious health issues for non-laying birds, including drakes. A more suitable feed for a mixed flock or male ducks is an "all flock" or "maintenance" feed The label does not provide an exact amount because niacin, like other vitamins, is added to meet, not necessarily exceed, the required nutritional standards.
