LAMBS: 3 weeks to 6 months. Feed free choice with good quality hay or forage.MAINTENANCE OF NON-LACTATING EWES AND RAMS: Feed at a rate of 1 to 2 lbs. per head per day along with forage.LACTATING EWES: Feed at 2 to 3 lbs. per head per day along with forage. Additional feed may be appropriate if nursing twins. Quality and availability of forage may impact performance.CONTAINS NO ADDED COPPER Store in a dry, well-ventilated area protected from rodents and insects. Do not feed moldy or insect-infested feed to animals as it may cause illness, performance loss or death.USE ONLY AS DIRECTED

My ewes and lambs love this feed

My ewes and lamb love this feed, and so do i it has all the added nutrients and minerals tgey need to grow and develop. All the needed nurishment nursing ewes need until lambs are about six months old. It is recommended to still give fresh forage, or allow them to graze if you have the means. They will still need their hay mixture alternating alfalfa and Bermuda. Theh do not need a salt mineral block whikr they are on this as it has the mi erals in it. It will be necessary to seperate older the males as they will try to hog the feed. With my mountain sheep I did not the first 4 months he was very protective & i didn't mind paying a little extra for the feed. Ive since separated them now that I have two breeds of pregnant ewes. My Hampshire and my Soay mountain sheep. My Rams aren't exactly happy about it, but it was necessary. Coal is is ending 6 months he was my Easter born lamb. He was raised on this and is very healthy Ram lamb.

My sheep like this BUT

This feed is extremely dusty. My sheep love it and do well on it but I have to scoop it up with a strainer before feeding to try and let some of the dust run out. Out of curiosity, I strained and weighed this last bag once finished. 3 pounds

Unable to order online, unable to find it in stores near me, unable to get a store to get it in stock, the only way I can get this is to order it delivered same day to my house, which of course is the most expensive way. Something’s wrong here!
