My ewes and lambs love this feed

My ewes and lamb love this feed, and so do i it has all the added nutrients and minerals tgey need to grow and develop. All the needed nurishment nursing ewes need until lambs are about six months old. It is recommended to still give fresh forage, or allow them to graze if you have the means. They will still need their hay mixture alternating alfalfa and Bermuda. Theh do not need a salt mineral block whikr they are on this as it has the mi erals in it. It will be necessary to seperate older the males as they will try to hog the feed. With my mountain sheep I did not the first 4 months he was very protective & i didn't mind paying a little extra for the feed. Ive since separated them now that I have two breeds of pregnant ewes. My Hampshire and my Soay mountain sheep. My Rams aren't exactly happy about it, but it was necessary. Coal is is ending 6 months he was my Easter born lamb. He was raised on this and is very healthy Ram lamb.

This feed is extremely dusty. My sheep love it and do well on it but I have to scoop it up with a strainer before feeding to try and let some of the dust run out. Out of curiosity, I strained and weighed this last bag once finished. 3 pounds

Normally, I would give this product 5 stars. I have been using it for YEARS, and my sheep love it. It keeps them in top shape, and they live very long lives - well into their teens. My only reason for 4 stars is that the last several bags that I bought had a different, almost sour, smell to the feed. My sheep were hesitant to eat it for about a week. I don't know if Purina changed their formula, or if these bags were just left in storage too long somewhere, but they are definitely different.

Don’t have it shipped to a store

This item was ordered on the 22nd and was supposed to be delivered to the store by the 30th. It’s still not there. There’s no way to find out about the shipping status, website doesn’t give that option and the store doesn’t know. I would definitely recommend the product just not from TSC if you have to have it shipped to one of their stores.

Its feed, trouble with TS in general is lack of supply. My county has 2000 sheep in it and maybe 140 horses but there are 3 full rows of horse supplies and three or for SHELF spaces for goats and sheep.
