Sustain an entire mixed flock of poultry, including growing hens, roosters, ducks, and geese. Purina Flock Raiser Chicken Feed is also for pheasants, quail, and turkeys after 8 weeks of age and older - all with the same bag of nutrient-rich, pelleted feed. This poultry feed is enhanced with lysine and methionine amino acids to help chicks and pullets with muscle and skeletal development. Comes in a 50 lb. bag of chicken feed.

My 5 star rating is for the product itself - I really like the Purina Flock Raiser Pellets vs the Flock Raiser crumbles, I think there is much less waste with the pellets. The other "flock raiser" brand that TSC sells has less protein (16% vs 20% for the Purina) and my girls need the higher protein right now because of the molting stage. I don't know why but the Purina Flock Raiser pellets are really hard to find in-store or online and if I do find it availalble online then I end up paying almost half the cost of the order just to ship it. I don't know why Purina and TSC don't work something out so this product can either be sold in stores, or at least shipped to a local TSC store for free.

The bag doesn't specify after eight weeks. On the chart it states up to laying. They love it but I think 20% protein is too much for ducks. They should only have 16%.

I switched from the layered to the flock after learning the layered is bad for roosters. The hens and roosters love this food. The hens love oyster shells to supplement their calcium needs.

It would be a great product if tractor supply didnt deliver it to the wrong house, in tje wrong city, in the wrong state!!! Thats not enough they expected me to take the crumbles (which cost $22 for 50 lbs) yet pay for the pellets which cost $28 for 50lbs.

No, I do not recommend this product.
