Q&As

1 - 6 of 6 Questions

Q: How long will this battery 60V2 run when fully charged?

1 Answer
  • A: Hi, there! Thanks for your question. The runtime of the battery is dependent on which tool it is used in, since some tools require more power to operate than others. That said, we would recommend using a higher amp battery for additional runtime. Thanks!

Q: Does the battery fit all models

  • A: Hi, Kathie! Thanks for your question. All Toro 60V batteries will work across all Toro 60V tools. However, it is not suggested to use the 2.0Ah or 2.5Ah battery as your single source of power in either the snow blower or the lawn mower due to the power requirement in those types of applications. The 2.0Ah or the 2.5Ah battery would be best used to supplement a 4.0Ah, 6.0Ah or 7.5Ah battery for additional run time. Thanks!

Q: I purchased this item to use with my weed trimmer and leaf blower, however it doesn't fit onto my charger. Is there a remedy for this, or do I just have to return the battery. Where can I find a battery that will fit my charger?

1 Answer
  • A: Hi Dave! Thanks for your question. This 60V 2.0Ah battery #88620, can be charged with any of our 60V MAX chargers (#88610, #88602, #88605) and can power any of our 60V tools. If your charger is the 20V charger #88500, it will not charge/work with the 60V batteries, only the 20V battery #88502. That said, if your trimmer and leaf blower are 20V, this 60V battery will not work to power them, and you will need 20V battery #88502. Thanks!

    Help

I think I am going to have to return this item. I have tried to charge this battery on my charger and it will not fit onto it. It looks just like the other battery I have, it has the same name and description, but it simply doesn't fit the charger. Have you had this problem with this item, and if so, what is the remedy? I really need another battery as the one I have is exhausted before I finish the weed whacking and driveway blowing. I will try to take it to the Urbana, OH store to see if they can resolve the issue. I have been getting my daughter off the college and just haven't had time to get to the store. I would appreciate having a response from you.
