If the oil level on the dipstick is too high, drain the excess oil until the oil level on the dipstick is correct. After first day of mowing

I was surprised as to how easy the Toro was to start, and how easy it was to make the end turns. We have a lot of tough stemmy weeds, and the cutting blade and mulching action handled even the 2 ft weeds. The clean-up and maintenance for oil checking and fueling was easy and the air filter was easy to open and clean, but was very dirty because there is a gap at the top right corner of the filter in which the dirt and grass was getting in

Good basic mower

The Toro 21311 unit I received had not been assembled well. Neither the front nor rear elevation control bars had been installed correctly. Both tended to fall off the mower when pushing it. The steps to correct it were not described in the Operator’s Manual. However the mower starts easily and, after the level adjustment problems were fixed, it mows evenly. It does have some trouble with heavy grass and debris tends to accumulate on the bottom of the mower housing. Despite these issues the final mowed lawn looks better than many mowed with more expensive equipment.
Yes, I recommend this product.
