The Tarter 8 ft. Goat Trough Feeder is a low-set, heavy-duty feeder for goats and other small animals. The goat feeder's V-bottom and overhead guard prevents goats from standing in the feeder. Our goats were all over the place at feed time, trying to get into the troughs we were using before we could even get feed in. After buying this, our goats do much better at just waiting beside the trough because this isn't designed for them to get into. It worked so well we bought a second within a week and wouldn't go back.

Worked out great for our goats, now instead of fighting they all file in a spot and eat. Allows the baby goats to get a spot. if they step in they quickly step out due to the angle of the trough.
