They have several unusual qualities, such as black skin and bones, blue earlobes, and five toes on each foot. Calm and friendly and the most docile of poultry, they make an ideal pet. While I love my chickens and they are all alive and healthy… I wouldn’t order the ‘mixed bag’ again. Mainly because I was expecting mixed colors and I got all white and one little grey speckled bearded silkie. Needless to say, she’s my favorite. Try naming and recognizing 9 white chickens 🐓

I was skeptical about mail order chicks and honestly scared to open the box for fear of a dead chick. These are a project for my daughter's Ag class. The chicks came in super fast! These babies were mailed out on Tuesday and we had them by noon on Wednesday. The packaging was solid (reinforced cardboard and plastic banding and hearty nesting material). Gave them electrolytes and silkie chick feed starter. They are eating, drinking, growing, and already working on their pecking order. Hopefully we have more hens than roos:D.
