Rated 5 out of 5 by from great product I used this last year on my lawn, and it really works good. My grass came back after a drought kill/growth stunt the year prior, and I credit this product for that. I bought again this spring, and have applied it to my lawn. I have appoximately 2 acres of lawn to maintain.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Show the contents, PLEASE, somewhere this Site I had the Texas A&M lab do soil tests of my yard. Our local (former) extension agent recommends soil testing. And if you don't obtain them, he recommends fertilizer with no phosphate and with plentiful slow-release nitrogen. This might be the perfect fertilizer for me. But iIhave to go to a brick & mortar store to see the contents. The contents are only on the back of the bags which you don't show on this site. I shop!!!! I've used Scotts for many years. But why are you hiding the specs? I don't put cheap Ammonium-Sulfate on my lawn and I never compare it with Scotts fine products. I refuse to buy fertilizer based on 'word appeal'. Fire your marketing robots and prominently return the numbers to the front of the bags. I buy fertilizer based on content of Iron, Sulfur, etc. in addition to N-P-K. Do right for Scotts and leave the word appeal to stores. I cannot green my lawn with the words of your marketing department. Why do I have to turn over the bags to see the numbers? My last application was your Green Max and I like it-a lot, on both Tiff Bermuda and St Augustine. But soil tests will guide my future purchases. Also, I'm treating my lawn with DiseaseEx. I've got my fingers crossed

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Yellowing grass I bought this product to help my yard grow fuller. It’s my first time using this product. Three days after application my grass started yellowing and it seems to be getting worse. I’m praying that my grass doesn’t die. I followed all recommended instructions but am very disappointed at the results. I wouldn’t recommend this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too good at retaining moisture The materal clumps so bad, it will not come out of a broadcast spreader, even when I set it two number above the recommend setting. I ended up just having to spread it by hand. I live in central texas, and stored the unopened bag in my garage. Maybe if you store it in your home with the AC it will keep the humidity out of the material, but even as I was spreading it it seemed to suck the moisture out of the air and stop up the spreader.
