- A: Please see the answer from the manufacture below. Yes it is considered synthetic. You can let animals back in the area when the fertilizer pellets have dissolved into the soil. One of the ingredients is a lime which is actually used for chicken feed3 years agoHelpful?

Simple math people.

If you can't calculate how much to put on your lawn, then you probably shouldn't be applying this. Simple math people. Cross multiply and divide. 50lb is to 8000 as x is to your sqft lawn. Say 5k or 5000 in "lamens terms" sqft lawn..... "5000" x 50 ÷ 8000 = lbs you will need for your lawn. Your welcome. I don't know how some people survive in this world.
