The Espoma Soil Acidifier Fertilizer is all-natural and the most effective way to acidify soil to the optimum range for your plants. The plant food provides fast-acting and long-lasting source of sulfur and is safer than aluminum sulfate. This soil acidifier is an all-natural fertilizer and also provides twice the coverage of aluminum sulfate.

Not good for a broadcast spreader.

After a soil test, the recommendation was to apply this product to my lawn. Despite the package saying a broadcast spreader could be used. There were pencil diameter pellets of the product throughout the package that made the application extremely uneven. cleary a defect in the manufacturing/packaging process. Had I known this, I would have sifted the acidified to remove the pellets before using. But honestly... should I need to do that?

My soil pH measures 7.25, and most of the things I plant like it more acid. I got this 30 lb bag and used it right up. Best price around at Tractor Supply.
