GreenView Fairway Formula Spring Fertilizer + Crabgrass Preventer is a premium quality lawn fertilizer that toughens, greens and thickens your lawn. Plus, it prevents crabgrass and other grass and broadleaf weeds (see label for a complete list) for up to 4 months when applied prior to germination in lawns. The crabgrass killer for lawns also provides post-emergence control of seedling crabgrass for up to 4 weeks after it germinates. Special extended time-release feeding of nitrogen lasts up to 12 weeks, without surge growth. Apply this formula any time lawn is actively growing. This slow-release fertilizer works on any type of grass; will not burn lawn. Promotes a deep green turf color with fewer grass clippings.

Great Lawn Product

The Spring Fertilizer with Crabgrass Preventer has helped our lawn recover from the extreme heat of last summer. With spring rain, the grass is getting thicker and greener. Very pleased with this product.

Love the slow release nitrogen, and the post-emergent aspect of the crabgrass treatment gave a much larger window for applying the product.
Lots of sulfur is also good, since it helps with the uptake of the nutrients.
Would like to see some iron added in to the formulation. That would deepen the green and make the lawn stand out from the neighbors.

When I opened the bag, I saw a definite higher quality fertilizer in the form of beads for slow release. Noticed a dark lush green in my lawn after a heavy rain. Greenfield the same fall brand of fertilizer my dad used in 1960. I bought another bag for next year.
