The Premier Tech Peat Moss is OMRI listed and approved for organic use. This 100 percent Canadian Sphagnum peat moss, the best all-purpose natural soil conditioner, can slightly lower the pH of alkaline soils and is ideal for improving water retention and aeration in garden soil. The 2.2 cu. ft. compressed-volume bag expands when opened to yield up to 4.4 cu. ft.

Same volume as promix but half the price, only difference is that you have to wet them yourself. However, compared to other dept store Premier brand, i feel that this is not as compressed and screened finer and easier to hydrate.

Packed with too much moisture

This product does not expand to double the packaged size as stated in the ad. The product is very wet, too wet. If you want to spread it in your garden or use it as a lawn repair topper, the bag needs to be opened up and the moisture needs to dry out. I purchased this before and it wasn’t this wet.
