Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very unsatisfactory I applied it to my lawn in the early AM after a heavy due. It didn't rain for at least 3 days. It didn't kill half the green clover and about none of the red clover. Will apply to get my money back if I can figure out how.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works exactly as advertised. I'm honestly impressed with how well the weed and feeding working. It's been 3 days since applied and 90% of the weeds are dieing. It's late August and I'm going to wait till the end of September to either use weed and feed fall or regular fall feed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth buying way over rated. I put this on my Lawn and then in a month put it on again and I still have clover in my yard, I have used Scott's products on my lawns for around 40 years and its always worked great, but turf builder weed and feed didn't do that job and hardly even greened up the lawn, like I said still fighting clover. its not near as good as it has been in years past.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work Followed instructions, completely ineffective on clover and other weeds.

Is this safe for pets

Asked by: Butler1
This product poses no risk when it is applied according to directions. Non-grazing pets can reenter the lawn immediately, but we recommend that the lawn be watered and allowed to dry before returning to the lawn. This allows Scotts Turf Builder Weed & Feed to be absorbed through the weed leaves without disturbance. is this basic fertilizer in a fancy bag? From the description it is 28% nit., 0% phos. and 3% pot.; what makes this so devastating to lawns and weeds? as many folks have burned their lawns and grown healthy weeds.

Asked by: fggmplus babyboomer
The Scotts Turf Builder Weed & Feed3 is a fertilizer and weed killer. The active ingredients are 2,4-D and MCPP (Mecoprop-p). These ingredients are absorbed through the foliage of actively growing weeds and moves through the plant's system. Both actives interfere with the growth regulation of the weed causing it to grow itself to death.
