Item Information

This convenient and easy to read magnetic thermometer attaches to any metal surface including single wall pipes and stoves for a quick and easy way to monitor burn temperatures. In addition to seeing if the stove is operating at peak efficiency, the gauge will also indicate a low temperature that could be a result of dangerous creosote or soot buildup in the fire chamber or chimney. Indicates from 100°F to 800°F (35°C to 430°C). Not designed for double walled pipes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It is what it is......... It's a simple spring thermometer. It seems to be working fine for me. If you want bells and whistles, don't buy this product.......go with an infrared. I got it on sale, and wouldn't pay full price for it, but it does the job.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from inaccurate had for one year. never read accurate. was at least 100F shy of actual when new. more than 200F shy of actual now. good thing we have enough sense to feel a hot stove instead of relying on this. If you overheat the firebox, they won't honor your warranty if you saud their gauge didn't read correctly
