RUTLAND Grapho-Glas Stove Gasket Kits include both high-quality gasketing in convenient rope or tape, plus cement to allow the DIY homeowner to confidently replace worn-out gaskets in wood stoves, coal stoves, outdoor wood boilers, and fireplace inserts. This graphite-impregnated gasketing resists abrasion, creosote adhesion, and temperatures up to 1000 degrees F (530 degrees C) and is braided to resist fraying. The kit also contains a 1.35 oz. tube of RUTLAND E-Z Spread Fiberglass Stove Gasket Cement to attach the provided gasketing securely.

- A: If you are unable to get the proper gasket sizing from your owners manual or by contacting the stove manufacturer, you can typically measure the width of the gasket channel in your stove door to find the correct diameter of gasket you will need to purchase.7 years agoHelpful?

- A: We recommend getting the same size and density that your fireplace or stove calls for. Rutland 5/8” Grapho-Glas gasket will compress down, however you have to be sure that whichever gasket you use, that you get a nice snug fit.9 years agoHelpful?

So I read the reviews on this product. Obviously the 2 others cant spend 10 minutes and read the instructions. Revievs are for the PRODUCT, not for spamming lack of effort or being stupid. The product works perfect and seals the doors like it was OEM

I got an older product with dry adhesive
7 months ago
The gasket material was the right stuff. The gasket adhesive must be old as it would not come out of the tube. I kneaded it and cut the spout off for a 1/8" bead. It would not come out. I cut most of the spout off and still it would not come out. I had to cut the tube open and used a stick to dig out the adhesive to apply. There was no legible date code. Fortunately i bought the last kit on the shelf.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Total waste of money. Had to buy second kit, adhesive was bad in both kits! Trash!!
