The Imperial 6 in. x 24 in. Black Stove Pipe is used to connect your wood stove to entrance of the chimney. This black stove pipe features a 24 gauge pre-painted black steel construction and has a satin black finish. The male end of this high-quality stove pipe is crimped for easy assembly to round pipe or fittings of the same diameter. The crimped end should be oriented toward the stove to allow for condensation and creosote to flow down inside the pipe. Our single-wall snap-lock black pipe system is an economical way to vent from a wood stove to the entrance of a chimney or where the system breaches a wall or ceiling

Q: Can I use this pipe to vent my coal stove?
a year ago- A: Hi, Here is the information we received from the vendor- "Any of our Black 6” or 8” (24ga) Black Pipe can be used with coal stoves. Our pipe will work as single wall pipe, however with certain types of coal, it may deteriorate much faster than with a wood burning application. I would always still defer to any local codes/ordinances prior to installation."a year agoHelpful?
Q: Are these Imperial pipes, connectors, compatible w your DuraPlus thimbles? If not which 6” thimble is compatible?
2 years ago- A: Hi KPNC, According to the vendor: Yes, our Imperial stove pipe pairs with the DuraPlus Thimble. Just a reminder, it's crucial that the thimble and the pipe or fitting share the same diameter.2 years agoHelpful?
Q: Does it come in 5”
3 years ago- A: We do not carry this stove pipe in a 5" length.3 years agoHelpful?
Q: Am looking for 6"x48" single wall black stove/flue pipe. Can pickup in your Fayetteville ga store. I need three sections. We have other connectors in shop. Thanks Kelley Philips 7706520674.
4 years ago- A: For special orders, please contact your local TSC store.4 years agoHelpful?
Q: Approximately how high does pipe need to be from roof, above in the air in order for the heater to "draw" properly? And, Does it come in longer pieces?
4 years ago- A: The top of the flue opening should be at least 10 Ft (3.1 m) away from any roof surface as measured by a horizontal line drawn from the top of the chimney flue opening to where it would touch the roof surface. The top of the flue opening should be 3 Ft (0.92 m) above any roof surface.4 years agoHelpful?
Q: Can this be cut to size in the store?
4 years ago- A: You would need to contact the store directly for instore cutting options.4 years agoHelpful?
Q: Iwant to run the pipe thru roof of screened porch, is that possible?
5 years ago- A: This imperial single-wall snap-lock black pipe system is an economical way to vent from a wood stove to the entrance of a chimney or where the system breaches a wall or ceiling.5 years agoHelpful?
Q: Does the seam need to be caulked with high temperature caulking? Also does the collar need to be caulking as well during installation?
5 years ago- A: Caulking should not be needed.5 years agoHelpful?
Q: Can this be buried? So you dont think Im crazy, Im looking for a solution to provide an air duct into the bottom of a fire pit (and allow for water drainage out).
5 years ago- A: Any time steel pipe is buried, it will rust out in a short period of time. This pipe is no different. It is not intended for burial. If you are looking for a short term temporary fix for an event, almost anything will do. l would advise using something like a clay tile pipe for this. It would last a long time.5 years agoHelpful?
