The Retriever Single Door Dog Crate sets up easily with the fold and carry configuration that requires no use of tools. The crate has been designed completely around the safety, security and comfort of your dog. The dog crate comes to you equipped with a composite plastic pan for easy cleanup in the event of an accident. The crate also features a plastic carrying handle for easy transportation. This dog crate offers peace of mind with its safe and secure slide bolt latches for the safety and security of the pet inside and the furniture on the outside. We are on cage #2, at first I thought, ok it was just this cage, and it wasnt built good,, so I got another one....My year old puppy, has escaped numerous times from this one also. The door doesnt latch anymore, and he literally tore the wire and my dog can now get out. I have to use numerous bungy cords to try and hold my dog in.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Second night and is close to being destroyed

This is only the second night that I’ve had this crate. I’m a little disappointed that there is a not a crate covered specifically made for this crate (or at least not one that I found after a quick Google search). Secondly, my 9 month old puppy has already destroyed the divider by bending it to the point that it won’t fit. She’s also partially destroyed the gate. Another night of chewing and I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s freed herself and I find her sleeping on the couch outside of the crate. It’s too late to go out and find another crate tonight but I’ll decide what I’m going to do in the morning.
I most definitely WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS CRATE FOR CRATE TRAINING. It barely holds my 9 month old puppy in. If your dog is perfectly trained already, I would CONSIDER recommending this crate, but haven’t decided yet.

I reviewed this shortly after set up. Since then my Weimaraner has bent door, side pieces and works latches open. Not built to handle a dog that wants out.
I would not recommend getting one. Very disappointed.
