These, unfortunately, are the best nipples I have found for bottle feeding my baby goats. They are ridiculously expensive and the goats can easily chew holes in them, no matter what we do. I guess there is just no perfect nipples other than Mom’s. I didn’t read reviews because I had already purchased some in the store previously but they were out when I went back. They are still out! Just hoping to get these kids weaned so that I don’t have to order any more.

Leaks where it attaches, kids pull them right off and get a milk bath. Waste of money!

When our mini goat bottle babies were first born we were disappointed to discover that they would not nurse from these nipples. They would only nurse from regular baby bottles and nipples. After about a week or so we noticed they were having trouble with those so we tried these nipples again and they loved them. Our bottle babies are now a month old and doing great. For larger animals such as full size goats or any other mid size livestock I’m sure they would work great from birth. We really liked the fact that we were able to put pin holes in them at first and have been able to trim them to widen the hole as the babies have gotten bigger.

Favorite nipple for feeding deer fawns and small lambs. We no longer use the stiff black rubber nipples as small mouths readily prefer these. Make sure to just barely snip off the end to start with, 1/16" at the most. Or make a very short slit in the end with a scissors, perhaps 1/8" deep at the most. At $11 per 3-pack I don't consider these cheap, but they're well worth it and I try to keep some spares as backup. They'll last for several seasons if taken care of and hand washed. Do not wash in dishwasher, it will destroy them.
