Not only do I love this cage, but more importantly, my Quaker Parrot loves his cage! It's huge. I was able to put it together myself. The most difficult part was the top. I recommend leaving the screws loose so you have wiggle room to get all the posts in the holes at the top. I learned the hard way on that part. I would say this cage would work with birds up to Hahn's macawa and Goffen cockatoos. It really is a beautiful looking cage. Being able to pull out both the bottom grate and tray makes it easy to clean as well as having a door at the top and bottom. I didn't put the seed guard on yet as I am missing one section. I haven contacted the company yet, but I will to see if they can send me the missing piece. There was a small section of bars that was damaged in transit. The box was also damaged in thee same place. It wasn't too bad, so I decided to keep it. Yes, this is a pricey cage, but it is good quality. It's very sturdy. The bars aren't flimsy. The casters are top quality metal, and it rolls very smoothly. I also like the 3 feeder doors, but I put them in the top half instead of the bottom. Bird poop falls down, so it makes more sense for bowls to be higher up. It was only after I finished putting it together that I realized I put the feeder door section upside down. Thankfully, it still works this way. So just be sure you have it right before working on the top section. I highly recommend this cage. With a TSC credit card and their flexible payment options, this cage becomes more affordable. If you're going to invest a lot of money in a bird, you want to make sure it has a quality home.
