Q: in the product picture it states that the cage color is black but the item number is F041. According to Prevue product code F041 is Chalk White. Is this product really Chalk White ? and why does it say black ? I want to buy only the Chalk White cage.

- A: Hello. We have not tried assembling the cage in that way and cannot answer whether this would be secure or not. Each of our cages is specially designed with a general purpose, and making alterations in the design could affect the structure of the cage, and affect the way it functions. Therefore, we do not recommend making any modifications as the safety of your pet is always our top priority.7 years agoHelpful?
Q: Wire spacing is 1/2", but in some areas there appears to be larger gaps. I'm looking to convert this size cage into a dwelling for over 10 mice. Appears there may be some areas where the gaps are as 3/4 to an inch. Please confirm. Thanks!

- A: Hello. Our F040 comes with 1/2" wire spacing all around. If there are gaps larger than a 1/2" we recommend adjusting the panels by tightening all the hardware around the cage. If this does not help, please reach us at 800 243 3624 for assistance. Hope this helps!7 years agoHelpful?

This is a really nice, well made bird cage. The downside was that it was a bit challenging to put together. It definitely takes two people. But my birds really enjoy all the room they have.

53 inch cage

It is a good cage for small birds to fly around in. I have 3 canaries in mine. The bottom tray is plastic which will not hold up over time to washing etc. But worth buying for low price
