Black Mission Figs are well known for their deep purple flesh and are unique for producing two crops a year; once in late spring and again in early fall. Dense and seedy, these figs have a pinkish-red flesh and are great for eating fresh, cooking, or canning. Mission figs are self-fertile and do not require a pollinator; however, adding an additional plant to your garden will help increase fruit yields! Keep leaves dry when watering and remove any leaf debris to control common issues common to figs such as rust.
