Pennisetum alopecuroides 'Hamelin', commonly known as Fountain Grass, is a compact, dwarf variety of its larger, native version found in East Asia. This intriguing plant begins with slender green shoots that gradually change to a beautiful golden bronze as the season progresses, perfect for adding contrast to dark backgrounds. In late summer, it produces soft, fuzzy plumes that resemble dandelions.
