Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fast grass, immediate weeds to follow!!!! This is the second time this has been put on our lawn due to no fault of ours. I will agree it grows fast but the weeds fill in right behind it and the dirt will soon be most prevalent

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far so good Put the seed out and about 2 weeks later grass started growing. I haven't mowed yet and I'm not sure how well the grass will hold up, but I have plenty of grass where I didn't before, so I'm happy!

Okay in reading the comments this grass seed is mostly annual seed. Its that right? Please let me know, we are pleased with the way it come up, but wanted it to grow back next year. What is the content of the grass seed?

Asked by: ranchermom
Fast lawn is 92% annual ryegrass & 8% perennial ryegrass. This is a very fast germinating mix but will not come back without reseeding with another mixture. The spring 2017 formula will be adjusted to 50% perennial ryegrass & 50% annual ryegrass which will help with persistence as well as ensure a very fast start.

I need grass seed that will last through 90 degree summers

Asked by: Cbrewtoyou
Ultra Turf tall fescue is the best choice unless you are in the deep south, then it will be recommended to use bermudagrass.
