Lawn Jump Starter

I had a very difficult time getting my grass to grow in my backyard. I used a whole 50 lb bag on 5k square feet and the grass grew in very thick. I know this is extreme overkill but I had it by that point. The grass is very fine and soft. I would recommend this product based on the price, quick germination time, and overall look.

Fast growing, but fast dying.
We have a new yard and the contractor hydro-seeded May 2014. In August some places needed additional seeding. We selected this grass, and within a matter of days it looked great - better than the grass from May! However, by October this new grass began to die off. Now that is it May 2015, all the areas where this fast growing seed was used 100% dead, while the contractor planted grass is doing fine.

planted and now we have grass!
I did just like it said, spread it out and kinda step it in with my body weight. Within about five or six days I see it growing and already now about five or six inches high. It worked perfect for a recently cleared lot.

Not heat tolerant
Absolutely wonderful. Very happy with this purchase until I wasn't. This is not a heat-tolerant grass, and Tennessee needs it. Planted in April, I was thrilled. Bought two more bags and overseeded the front yard, thrilled again. Overseeded backyard, thrilled a third time. I watered, I prayed, and grass came within days. I fertilized the yard, and everything was soft and feathery green. Then June came, and the oppressive heat. While I continued to water 100% of all new grass is brown and dead. UGH!! I still water, and am hopeful, but nothing has come back.
