Q: To lengthen your wire for your solar panel. Can you splice into the existing wire on the solar panel or do you need to replace with a complete wire to the control box?

Coming up short…twice

Not much to like. I bought this because it same name as gate opener and SUPPOSED TO BE 100 ft. It was two rolls of wire not one solid roll. Who does this?  Very very lucky that it was cut in right length I made it work for two gates. Just sorry to do folks like that.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Nix - I have never heard of this issue, should be 100 ft of Wire. I could send you another Spool if you needed it, will send directly to you if you want it. Apologize for the hassle. If you want the replacement call Customer Service at 800-421-1587 option #4, give them your address to give to me the Tractor Supply Account Manager.
