Rated 1 out of 5 by from Second Chance Installed as directed. Works on and off , not consistent. Will be digging up and returning ASAP . Will try another unit to see if performance improves. Neighbor has same model , works great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy setup, poor range Setup is straight forward...anyone should be able to i stall it. The range is only about half of what is advertised. I am only able to get about 100 ft.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mighty Mule Wireless Driveway Alarm Instructions were clear to the point, included illustrations and installation was easy. Note that the transmitter distance from the underground sensor is roughly 8'. I painted the gray PVC transmitter post camo to hide a bit. The sensor does it's job alerting us of vehicles moving past the sensor. Distance between transmitter and receiver in the house is about 250' direct line-of-sight. I installed the unit about 42' from the road and was receiving a few false alarms per day. A simple turn of the sensitivity dial fixed that and the unit works perfectly. I recommend buying this unit.

We live in the country with our power lines & transformer all above ground,(over head) right next to our driveway and county road. Will the magnetic sensor still work right below the overhead power lines?

Asked by: Kersten
Hi Kersten, those should not interrupt the Wireless Driveway Alarm being they are not moving parts or moving metal masses.

What? kind of battery does it use

Asked by: brad18
brad18, Thank you for posting your question. The outdoor transmitter runs off two AA batteries, (not included) we recommend lithium batteries. The indoor receiver runs off a AC transformer (included) that plugs into a 110 VAC outlet. Thank you,
