Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well. Idiot proof! I've had one other heater, and it had all sorts of whistles and bells. As a result, didn't work very well at all.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Master 80000 review I bought this heater to warm parts of the house I am building. The heater worked great for about 30 minutes although it was a bit noisy. Then there was a loub noise and the heater let out a puff of smoke and quit. I called the manufacturer and spoke with a representative.she asked me to remove the top of the unit and I found that the fan had been stopped and the shaft tore out the center of the fan. The representative took my info and shipped me a new unit which I received in 3 days. It has worked great. I must say that the customer service w as s fantastic. I even got to keep the other unit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice Heater for the Price Heater works great, but mine only lasted two winters, with minimal use, before the motor froze up. So a good heater but, for me, it didn't last too long. Good heater for the price.

What "cool down cycle"? There is no mention of a "cool down cycle" in my owners manual. When I push the switch to "off" manually...it goes off...immediately. It works the same way on the timer.

Asked by: Sportdog
After the unit is shut off , the fan remains running for 90 seconds to ensure the heat is removed from the unit

When I use kerosene it gives off he badd odor how can I fix this

Asked by: Doom2100
You will always get some fumes while running diesel or kerosene which is why in the manual we instruct you to have satisfactory ventilation. You can try adjusting the PSI up ( Clockwise) 1/4 turn to increase pressure to burn it a little hotter to help eliminate that odor

Can I use this heater on a timer; for example, to come on every three hours for 15 minutes and then shut off... The thermostat control would waste too much fuel.

Asked by: Sportdog
Using it on a timer will cause the programming on the board to not work correctly and could be dangerous

What difference would it make if I turn it on and off manually vs a timer turning it on and off??? If I turn it off manually, how would that affect the programing? I answered my own question. I put it on a programmable timer and it worked fine.

Asked by: Sportdog
Do not leave it unattended as you risk the cool down cycle not running completely
