Q: Can you get a cool down fan. The best way for the heater to cool down
4 months ago- A: You do not need an external "cool down fan" because the Master Diesel/Kerosene Forced Air Torpedo Heater (MHP-215-KFA) has a built-in automatic cool-down cycle that runs its internal fan for approximately 3-5 minutes after the heater is switched off.4 months agoHelpful?

Q: how are the fumes using diesel?
2 years ago- A: Hi Rick, good question. All kerosene or propane heaters blow their combustion air out the front of the heater and into the space that they are heating. There will be a slight odor with a kerosene heater. Propane heaters tend to have less. Be sure to follow all the directions and be aware that all fuel or gas heaters produce Carbon Monoxide and need to be used in well-ventilated areas.2 years agoHelpful?
Q: What is the dimensions of the box not yet assembled? Thank you

Q: How do I start it

Q: Can you move this heater from different locations after it has been filled with fuel without it leaking?
4 years ago- A: From page two (2) of the user manual: NEVER transport heater with fuel in tank. https://media.tractorsupply.com/is/content/TractorSupplyCompany/tsc/product/1/05/21/50/1052150_Man1.pdf4 years agoHelpful?
Q: Does the mhp215kfa heater have silentdrive technology?
4 years ago- A: Thank you for your question. The MHP-215-KFA does not include silent drive technology. If you are looking for silent drive technology, we recommend the MH-220T-SDR which is 50% quieter than equivalent conventional forced air heaters and offers 220,000 BTUs.4 years agoHelpful?
Q: I think someone is mistaken, ALL diesel are dyed. Description states CSA certified for diesel #1 & 2 which both are died “green”, off-road diesel is #2 diesel dyed red. How can this be CSA certified for un-dyed diesel when you cannot buy un-dyed diesel?
4 years ago- A: Thank you for your question. The MHP-215-KFA is rated for On-Road diesel, which may be either clear or have a slight green tint to it. This is the same fuel that you would use for your car/truck. It is not rated for red, Off-Road or farm diesel as this type of fuel has too many impurities and the red dye can cause issues with the seals on the fuel tank of the unit. While it is highly recommended to use a clear fuel, such as clear K-1 Kerosene, the On-Road diesel is an acceptable fuel type to use.4 years agoHelpful?
Q: I read a question asking if it can be ran with “off-road diesel”, the answer was “no”. In the description it says it can be run on diesel #1 or #2.. what is your idea of “off-road” diesel???
4 years ago- A: We don't recommend red or off-road diesel, for a variety of reasons. -The dye used can build up on the KFA's nozzle -Red diesel tends to sit for long periods of time. The quality of the fuel and the possible lack of cold weather additives can cause the unit to not operate efficiently or have ignition problems. -The heaters are not certified by CSA for dyed diesel (red or blue).4 years agoHelpful?
