Simple and Easy Set Up

We bought our 440 iQ in July 2025 from our local Husqvarna dealer. He brought a test model to show us how it would operate and function on the property we were wanting the 440 to maintain. His test model performed exactly as we had hoped. After delivery of our 440, we immediately began setting up the wireless boundaries and work zones. We broke our property up into small work zones to allow the 440 to completely mow the area on one charge before needing to return to the charging station to begin the next work zone. Adjusting the boundaries as necessary whenever problems would arise has been extremely easy to complete through the app. Setting up the work schedule has been another perk through the app. Our 440 has performed like a beast whether it has a clear sky or it is raining. We have had two cutting motor block issues, but both of those issues have been covered by the warranty and promptly fixed by our local dealer. We found that our reference station is positioned in a very central location, which has allowed our 440 to cover more area than we originally anticipated. This has greatly reduced the extra mowing we would personally have to do. The 440 cutting patterns have been fun to set up as well allowing for us to modify what our lawn looks like after each cutting.

The 440 iQ came from Carl’s Mower & Saw, Ferndale,WA. Previously had the 450 model. I installed it myself with just a couple calls to the national Husqvarna help line, which was excellent. I created five zones for my 1/2 acre. Love the mower’s mowing patterns, ant that I can wash it down with a hose. I added 1,500’ of ColMet 14 guage metal edging to prevent erosion of flower bed edging. Trim the edges with a Stiihl RMA 510, battery mower, and string trim with a Stihl KMA 135 R once in one to two weeks. Life is good.

Have used Husqvarna auto mowers to mow all fairways on the golf course i manage for the last year! Love them so much bought one for my own yard! Exceed expectations every day! Easy to setup and manage. My back yard is very wet and a traditional mower could not do what an auto mower does!

Auto mower review

I bought about a month ago and it has really helped my time constrained life. I work a lot and visit my girlfriend some on the weekend, leaving a narrow window to get yard work done. Takes care of 99% of the work, with a small percentage of weed eating and maintenance that I can achieve rather quickly late in the afternoon. I live in NC and it feels like our mowing season is from March until November…so mowing is definitely part of home ownership tasks. I have about 1/2 acre without many trees and a great open air location for the antenna. I paid someone to install at a reasonable costs & I highly recommend if you just want your mower to takeover and start doing your work for you. So far..so good and the yard looks great with chosen pattern. I have it on a schedule based on the apps recommended amount and it keeps the mower busy doing a section or a repeat most days of the week. I Recommend buying and I imagine more people will buy in the future as technology & affordability continues.
