It comes with an integrated log cradle to help secure the logs and features an 8 in. wedge for splitting either horizontally or vertically. The ground stand helps provide a stable work surface while splitting, and the fast cycle time allows you to tackle more cords per hour. For easy maneuvering, this log splitter sits on D.O.T. approved tires and can be towed up to 45 MPH. The 2 in. ball coupler extended tongue hitch fits most ATV/UTV towing applications. Its ok for the price

Hydraulic fluid was way under filled. During its first use I noticed lots of air bubbles in the clear hose leading from the hydraulic tank to the pump. I also noticed surging and inconsistent pressure which prompted me to check the fluid level. Also noticed the hydraulic fluid had a milky hue to it which can only be caused by one thing. Water. There is a vent hole on the fill plug with no check valve in it. It is a direct shot into the tank. Tractor supply stores all their units outside and uncovered through any type of weather so it is a safe bet that any Huskee log splitter that is purchased from Tractor Supply, will have water mixed with its hydraulic fluid. Drained the fluid, flushed the system, and ordered a new plug WITH a check valve to prevent future issues. Other than that, the machine works flawless. Engine runs good and strong, and splits very strong. If I had to do it again, id probably pass on any splitter from Tractor Supply and purchase one from a company that cares a little more about what they sell.

Not a good buy

So far, just bought today, trouble starting it. tried for over an hour before it finally started and ran for 5 minutes then stopped. Bogged down and stopped running while splitting a piece of wood. For the price this is a piece of crap! Think I will return it tomorrow.

Nice fast splitter

So far so good to splitter has split any and everything I've put on it and I put some monster size pieces of oak with nuts and it might slow down for a second but it splits right through and the cycle time is really quick which is nice and it also doesn't weigh as much as your other splitters so it's a lot easier to move around. Very happy with deciding to get the huskee 20 ton splitter

I love this splitter. I did a cord in about 45 minutes. Worked perfectly in both the vertical and horizontal positions. I was a breeze to work with, started on the 2nd pull. I definitely recommend this splitter!
