The CountyLine 28-Ton Log Splitter uses a 196cc Kohler SH270 Series engine, which is known for having both industry-leading power and a user-friendly design. Featuring 6.5HP, 10.2 FT-LBS of Torque, 13 Second Cycle Time and a 14 GPM 2-stage pump this engine is sure to perform under the toughest of challenges. The Kohler engine has an accessible air filter and spark-plug, making it extremely easy to maintain, and a dual ball bearing crankshaft design that makes starting up a breeze.

Terrible warranty

Had this splitter for only a year and a half and really have not split much and the pump locked up causing the engine to fail. Called tractor supply for the 2 year engine and hydraulic warranty and they are telling me I need to call county line........ County line is a tractor supply trademark brand. Getting the run around with it now.
No, I do not recommend this product.

This wood splitter is Bad to the Bone. Spitts 30 inch pieces like butter was no hesitation. So glad I picked this model . It was even on sale and I saved 200.00 on the price. No more splitting by hand . Guess my wedges maul and sledge hammer will stay in my shop from now on👍 Thank you Tractor Supply and County Line.

Does what it is advertised to do

I've only split about half cord so far and it has split everything without much issue. I had a few larger pieces with branch intersections which gave it some minor troubles but it did power through them all. Those are likely the worst of what I'll ever split. I was surprised it was able to split them. I doubt you'll be disappointed should you purchase this brand and model.

Pleasantly surprised

I was hesitant about getting a unit this size I was looking for something bigger but the sale was too good to pass up and I am very impressed with the power it has. I have put it through its paces from day one and split about 2 cord the first week it never skipped a beat it runs great I have yet to use the choke and it starts in one pull every time. Very happy with this splitter
