I watched the delivery man make a half hearted effort at unloading this log splitter. Lost control and it flipped 6 feet off the lift gate. He actually asked if I wanted to inspect it as parts scattered everywhere. Delivery refused and still waiting for a response and refund. Horrible experience all around.

This splitter is amazing! The delivery was quick and putting it together was fairly easy... took me maybe two hours. Hardest part is lifting the beam which is heavy. I tipped it up and installed in in the upright position. As far as splitting wood. It has greatly exceeded my expectations. I started a small firewood operation with my boys and so far we have gotten through about 2 cords of red oak. I was initially thinking i needed something larger (kind of wanted the 40 ton county line) but this splits most things with ease. The speed is very impressive. I timed it and it really is within 6 seconds. I added a log table (the county line) over the engine to protect it. Only thing is I have to tip the beam to fill the gas. Not really an issue for me and rather have peace of mind nothing is going to fall on the engine. I'm tall (6'6") and this is a bit too low, i just placed it on pallets and issue resolved. I have ran a few different splitters the last couple years and this is by far my favorite. For the sale price I got really can't be beat.

Working great! Only have a few hours on it, split some knotty ash with ease.

Works great, fast cycle time and very fuel efficient.
