One of the best investments I ever made.
I have always tried to stay away from using a log splitter as I felt the old fashion manual way was better for keeping me in shape. Now that I am getting older and do not have the stamina I once had and some of the notty wood I decided to take advantage of the sale they had. I am glad I chose the one I did for a couple reasons. Speed of the ram and the log catchers on the side. Only wish I wouldn't have had to pay freight. What would take me a day or more to do before I now get done in 1-2 hrs.

Very powerful

Split everything I had, up to 2’ wide. Very fast. Started first pull after assembly, however the kohler engine was very difficult to start at 20F. Would definitely buy again.

Pros: Everything seems well built. I love the speed of this splitter. Engine fired right up.
Cons: The clear hydraulic hose form tank to pump kinked during install but still works. The control handle could be clocked up towards 12 o'clock some more. Maybe 2 to 5 degrees. The splitting wedge needs to be an inch or 2 taller. Overall satisfied.
