Hopkins Towing Solutions Flo-Tool Super Siphon Pump, 10800X/6 is rated 2.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Very Nice Tool that Works Great! If you understand how a siphon works, this is very simple to use. Just keep the discharge lower than the intake, intake below the surface of the water, and pinch off or plug the discharge line when you squeeze the bulb to start the siphon. And if it's not obvious to you, the instructions are spot on. I really can't understand why anyone would have a problem using it. Drained 4 gallons out of my motorcycle in minutes and I didn't have to get gas fumes in my mouth trying to start the flow.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from piece of junk followed directions on package, could not get flow started. VERY flimsy bulb

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It really does suck This is in no way a bad review for TS. This siphon pump will not stay primed no matter what you do. I had to pump the gas tank on my lawnmower to replace the fuel line. I ended up spilling and wasting more than I pumped. They had another type of pump on the shelf but I already have one of those and it sucks as well. Seems when the design changed on the gas cans everything went downhill.

instructions for pump. can't get mine to work?

Asked by: tim bo
Customer, Thank you for your inquiry. I would be happy to assist. Here are some instructions for use: 1. Be sure the plastic tip on the end of each clear tube is inserted into the black siphon bulb. (Already inserted in package) 2. Place long clear tube into the liquid to be siphoned. Make sure the liquid to be siphoned is above the container receiving the liquid. 3. Place your finger over the end of the tube which will be receiving the liquid. Squeeze the siphon bulb 2 to 3 times to begin the flow of the liquid. Remove your finger and allow the liquid to flow into the empty container. NOTE. If you are pumping gas, make sure the hose is pushed deep into the tank. Before you store the siphon pump, be sure all liquid is drained out of bulb and hose. Store in a cool place. If you have any further questions, please feel free to call our Tech Support Team at 1-800-835-0129 Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Central time. Thank you. Have a wonderful day.
